I've finally gotten my seedlings in, but I can't find ammonium nitrate anywhere. It is recommended to put 1 cup of ammonium nitrate down the middle of the seed bed right after transplanting seedlings. Even the farm supply places say they don't carry it anymore (possibly because it's used in explosives.) They said I could get it in bulk from places that sell to commercial farmers, but I only need 5 cups. I can find nitrogen in the form of urea, but I'm afraid it might burn my new transplants. Any ideas? (Use Urea - JK)
