I got watering spikes at Harbor Freight for $2.99 for 3-6 don't remember. I
ordered the 1st ones on-line. They carry them at the store nearby most of the
year. They are 6-7" long with lots of holes in them. Push them in, add a 2L soda
bottle and it waters underground near the roots. I cut the bottoms off the
bottles and fill them from the hose or watering can. I fertilize this way too.
