I have never used one personally, but I have heard from people who use them that they don't work very well. If you are in an area with wind or a lot of heat, they will need daily, or 2x a day, watering. They will also need a lot of fertilizer. If you only have room to garden in a container I would use the 5 gallon pail already suggested and some good potting soil. Make holes in the bottom for drainage and make sure your plant gets plenty of sun. All containers need plenty of water and fertilizer. Good luck.
