I am gonna guess that there is nothing wrong with your strawberries at all. I suspect the red and yellow leaves are just remnants from fall/winter color on last year's leaves and the new leaves have yet to start growing from the crown.

Plant 'em!

I would lose the peat pots, too. It seems to me that those pots wick water away from the newly planted strawberry crowns. Either take the pots off or tear the top down below the soil line.
