Re: [Organic_Gardening] No compost bin allowed

They work okay for small gardens and containers. Keep some dolomite lime on hand
and this will keep the aroma down. Also use a Black plastic barrel these will
absorb heat better. Then go to a craft store and get a nice stencil for flowers
and some medium grade sand paper and some colorful acrylic paint. Lightly sand
the barrel then decorate with the stencil. then get a couple of large plastic
version of the Terra cotta flower pots and plant some nasturtiums in them and
some daisys and corn flowers. Something to draw the eye away from the barrel.

Subject: [Organic_Gardening] No compost bin allowed

I own my trailer, but not the land it sits on. Two years ago, my landlady made
me get rid of my two compost bins. They weren't pretty enough for her. Does
anyone use a ComposTumbler successfully? My husband and I cannot afford to buy
one, but would it be worth the time and effort to make one? I have seen the
directions online.
