[MittleiderMethodGardening] Re: Does the Mittleider Method work in high wind areas?

I live in Kansas where we have a lot of high winds. We live out in the county and are very exposed to the winds. In the past only two cattle panels made into a ^ would survive. I have planted a hedge of wild plums on the west side and we have a woodlot on the north side of the garden to help because strong winds are hard on vegetables and I try to prevent some of the chemical drifts from the farmland around us. This has helped too. Anyways, the frames have done very well. I am shave covered them with plastic like a mini greenhouse and had problems but not with the structure.
