[MittleiderMethodGardening] Brussels Sprouts
Hi all.
I was wondering if I need to start brussels sprouts inside or should I just plant them in the ground. So far we are still under ice and snow in Eastern/mid Ohio.
How many plants should I grow for 7 people and how far apart do I grow them?

I recommend you start seedlings in a protected seedhouse.
I can't tell you how many to plant, because it depends on lots of variables, including variety, hours of sunlight, feeding, weeding, watering, weather, etc. as to how much a plant will produce - and then of course only you know how much your 7 people will want to eat. Any serious Brussels Sprouts growers out there who care to weigh in on this?
