[Organic_Gardening] Re: ant poision
And----
did you know that Aspartame was invented for ant poison? That is
exactly what it really is too, yet they sweeten foods with it.
Sprinkle it on the ant beds and spray with a spray bottle of water just
to barely moisten and it will kill ants. They eat it and carry it into
the dens.
And you though it was safe to eat!?
I have tried it and it works.

supposed to take the used grounds and make a circle with them around the
anthill. They say it takes a few days, but apparently the ants don't
like crossing the coffee grounds and they will go somewhere else. Have
not tried that, we don't drink coffee. But this year I may have to get
some, somehow we got ants in the covered bed of our truck.

along the drive, etc, to keep the ant population down, mostly for the
sake of grandkids who sometimes play here. Now I am trying to organic
garden and I am worried about killing frogs with the ant poision. I
like the frogs and hope they are eating some of the bad bugs in the
garden and I don't want them killed. How do you folks get rid of the
ants without using poisions? These are tiny little ants that pop up
homes everywhere right after a rain. They make nasty little bites that
leave a red bump, we call them piss ants. excuse me if that bothered
anyone.
