[Organic_Gardening] Slugs in Wales

Cyfarchion Sally,

All the way from Wales!

Here in the Adirondack Mountains in New York we have had a very wet start to summer.
That being the case we also had a ton of those slimy guys as well.
A nice old trick for dealing with them that works for us is placing old junk boards all the way around the garden beds that the slugs are devouring. What happens is when the sun finally does shine the slugs retreat and hang out under the boards where it is cool & damp. That gathers them into one place so that they can be dealt with. Usually I just jump up & down on the boards, flattens out the slugs pretty well.
Low tech but it does work.

Bod holliach,(hope the rudimentary attempt at Welsh makes sense)
